Rupert
Aharon, As always great shots! I'm hugely impressed there is no snow or ice in your shots!! Yes, the world can be very attractive regardless of the season. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

liner simpilot
Thanks for sharing these pics Aharon on an airlines you haven't seen in a long time. I have the SGA version of the DC-10-30. I did some looking into NE Airlines having DC-10's. There is no sign of them in their hangers. Kenny

I think you got Northeast confused with Northwest. Northeast operated DC-9 and 727 service. Regards, Aharon

Downwind66
Aharon - I have to ask, where did you find this beauty? I like the livery, couldn't find it, downloaded a couple DC-9's that I would have accepted, but something in the way the freewares was configured, I deleted both, could not get them to work, no matter what I tried! My patience only goes so far, and this being an older model aircraft, maybe the developers weren't that good back then, I don't know, I just gave up on them! But, you Aharon, have a winner! Enjoy! - Rick
aharon
ColR1948, Thank you for your kind words but I did NOT paint the Northeast livery. I just create beautiful screenshots for all of you to enjoy. Smiling I sent it out this morning Aharon wooo wooo woooo What you sent this morning will blend well with my three payware Cape Cod airport sceneries, my payware KLGA airport scenery, and my payware KDCA airport scenery as well as my freeware KPHL scenery!!! Got to install KACK scenery and KDCA scenery to get ready for what you sent this morning! Thanks for your very wonderful kindness. Aharon - I have to ask, where did you find this beauty? Downwind66, The Northeast livery as well as DC-9-10 series model base come from Historic Jet Group website at its hyperlink location: http://simviation.com/hjg/main.htm Just click on download section of that site and go to DC-9-10 to download BOTH model base and livery. REMEMBER that Historic Jet Group strives for so much EXTREMELY realism that they require SPECIFIC livery to match SPECIFIC engine version out of different engine versions of a single model base. You can tell which engine version by reading their aircraft.cfg's model line telling you which engine version to install based on specific model number. For imaginary example, 727-200 has about seven engine versions and you need to match specific livery to one of engine versions of the 727-200 model base using aircraft.cfg's information telling you which engine version. Also, if you are using FSX, just alias panel and sound to FSX default 738 panel. If you are using FS9, just do same thing to FS9 default 734 panel. If my advices fail, just join Historic Jet Group forums (it is FREEEE) and ask for help. There are dozen experts eager to assist you!! this being an older model aircraft, maybe the developers weren't that good back then, I don't know Actually HJG planes are TIMELESS masterpieces that can work well in FSX and some clever people can get them working even in P3D!!!! Look at my screenshots as example how well they can work in my FSX. Developers back then were pretty good. Look at realistic wing beacons!!! I did not even need to correct them as they were NOT NOT in embarrassing balloon size! Regards, Aharon
Downwind66
Aharon - Funny you should mention the Historic Jet Group and their downloads! I happened upon that site last week, and just reading the instructions for downloading, reminded me of wanting to be a brain surgeon, but quickly gave up on the idea! LOL! No, I haven't given up just yet on HJG, my wife is going out of town for a family wedding soon, so I will have plenty of quiet time to see if I can make it happen. Your texture on the DC9, where did you find that yellow? That texture really fits that aircraft well! Okay, thanks for sharing the aircraft and information! You've done well! - Rick

jimbo62
My dad worked for Northeast and I grew up flying the "yellowbirds." I haven't seen the beautiful lines of Northeast in many years, thanks for the trip down "memory lane."
