Outrage
I just got the TSS MD80 FSX sounds for the Maddog. For some reason though, the sounds are not working when I install them from the TSS sound folder into the Leo Maddog sound folder. I'm just hearing default Leo Maddog sounds. Any help? mrzippy
I replied to him on the other forum site. Wouldn't TSS provide a full sound folder to replace the Maddog sound folder? Maybe changing the sound= in the aircraft.cfg file to match the label of the TSS folder. Otherwise, like you mentioned Sir Don, he would have to edit the Maddog sound.cfg to use the new sound .wav files. Uh oh! I think I just Knighted Don!;) Great! It's Friday morning and my head is spinning already!:p Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
fxsttcb
Kneel, Knave!:eek:...TSS supplies the proper sound.cfg, so, no editing should be necessary. Outrage, I'd make a copy of the entire TSS sound folder, and, rename it sound.TSSMD80. Put that in the Leonardo Maddog airplane folder. Then you can, as mrzippy notes, point to that in the aircraft.cfg, sound=TSSMD80...Don HAF 932 Adv, PC P&C 950w, ASUS R4E,i7-3820 5.0GHz(MCR320-XP 6 fans wet), GTX 970 FTW 16GB DDR3-2400, 128GB SAMSUNG 830(Win 7 Ult x64), 512GB SAMSUNG 840 Pro(FSX P3D FS9) WD 1TB Black(FS98, CFS2&3, ROF, etc.), WD 2TB Black-(Storage/Backup) Active Sky Next, Rex4 TD/Soft Clouds
