Where is the fs9 default ai traffic located?

Good morning Nick.

It's located in FS9/Scenery/World/scenery. Scroll to the bottom of the list. Look for Traffic030528.bgl

Any traffic files will be placed here. Hope this helps. -Glenn

PS: It can be disabled by just renaming the file to something like "traffic030528xxx.bgl" instead of deleting it if you desire.

The traffic030528.bgl is in Scenery/World/scenery. Just re-name it as traffic030528.xxx to disable it, you might need it again some day.

Hate to tell you this, Glenn, but that won't make the slightest difference!

Thank you for the advice John. Maybe it is just my on system then - it has worked for me for many, many years. David "Opa" Marshall shared that advice with me a long time ago. It has served me well on my personal system. I will test it on someone else's computer to see what results I get. Thanks for the heads up. -Glenn

The extension must be something other than BGL in order to have some effect.

Thanks for all your replies.

I simply deactivated the default traffic file by making a folder named DEF TRAFFIC REMOVED, placing it in there and zipping the folder.

One can also do it another way: make a new folder named BAK DEF TRAFFIC and cut it and paste it into it as it is. I have tried both ways and they work fine--no traffic at all.
