gypsymoth
I've FS2004 & have just got this FS2004/FSX Air Asturias Project Airbus A320-214 Package NoVC Sharklet. The panel folder has the contents seen in 1, but I see 1a. The Installation instructs me to: 1.- Unzip PAB_A320_Sharklet.zip to a temporary directory. 2.- Copy Gauges, SimObjects and Sound folders with all its contents in the main folder of Microsoft Flight Simulator X, i.e. ( C:\ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X ) Or where you have FS2004 installation if the case (Main folder). if the file exists, overwrite in FSX and do not overwrite in other versions of FS. THAT's IT, NOW FLYING ¡¡ BUT the Gauges folder, 2, has these. Do these go into FS9 Gauges ? The Sound folder, 3, has these folders. Where do they go? The aircraft flies well & it's engine sounds are very good. I'm confused about what to do & I'd appreciate help here !! Thanks.
mrzippy
I would open the Gauges folder and copy/paste all of the things inside into the panel folder of the aircraft. I would open the sound folder and copy each of the folders inside to your Main Sound folder of your Sim. It's pretty easy once you done this type of installation a few times. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
gypsymoth
I asked because I've been installing aircraft, etc for 15 yrs & having done what you suggest & I can only say, it does not work ! I've repeated your suggestions & have this - see pic, & none of the sounds...........
mrzippy
OK, tried it and it works for me! Bad news is that I use FSX. I think the uploader of this file was mistaken when he labeled it as an FS2004 aircraft. Try deleting the entire panel folder and copy and paste a known good FS2004 airbus panel folder into this aircraft. I think the a321 .cab file is the culprit because it's coded for FSX. Probably also why the sounds don't work. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
gypsymoth
I thought it must be fsx....thanks for trying. I have Mike Stone's airbus with a nice panel so have deleted this a320. Thanks.
