CAB file error

I tried to install the Tim Conrad North American OV-10 (filename OV-10A_V2) and find that the CAB file containing the gauges is apparently corrupt. Whenever I try to place it in the correct folder, or anything else, I get an error message. Any suggestions what I can do to make this file work, or somehow get a working CAB file?

Thanks!

You didn't unpack/unzip the cab into the panel folder, did you? You just left it as a .cab file?

Yes, if it comes in a .zip file you unzip THAT, but don't go another level and unpack the .cab file of all it's .xml and .bmp files? They are still inside the .cab file?

Just checking. Some people do that...

The SP for the OV-10 is there for a reason. I don't know what it does, but it won't hurt to install it according to it's Readme file, will it? It may even help some...

Good luck!

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

I tried a repeat download, same result. I did a google search for 'conrad ov-10' and picked a link to a different download on a different site. I picked the CAB out of that download and pasted it into my panel folder. The airplane loads and the cockpit seems fully populated with gauges, so this looks like success!!! I haven't flown it yet...I will finish my current trip, then head back to KCMH to pick up the Bronco and try it out.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.
