Rupert Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 As regular viewers are aware, I'm fond or rocks. Well when I went to the ORBX portrayal of Monument Valley I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many options, not nearly enough time!! In the interests of keeping everyone awake I've tried to narrow number of the shots down. My recommended base of operations is UT25. That's where we start and stop this adventure. It's too exciting to me to just be a "flight." Anyone still awake can look at the upcoming reply where I'll add a few more shots. Rupert Posted March 10, 2018 Author Posted March 10, 2018 Here's the last few. And thanks for taking this tour with me! I expect you'll find your ride home exactly where you parked it. In lieu of tips, your Captain prefers either Red Wine or Dark Beer. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

NMLW Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Monument Valley is beautifully rendered in this scenery. Very nicely displayed.  :) Larry
peer01 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Awesome Michael!!:eek::cool: Red wine you said? Pity! I'm still waiting for Gerard's Chablis. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
flightsimg Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 I hadn't notice it was beer OR red wine. In any case red, OR Chablis in that desert, you: - first, have to transport it in something refrigerated - second, to take it swiftly out from there and to drunk it no less swiftly :):) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. liner simpilot Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Great looking pics, is this Monument Valley in AZ or Utah? Kenny
Rupert Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 Great looking pics, is this Monument Valley in AZ or Utah? Kenny Both! There's so much there I could spend a week.:cool: But I found a good central area to operate out of was UT25. That's the main one I showed during takeoff and landings. In fact if you look closely in one part of the area, there is a highway a sign that says Welcome to Utah. Also at least another one says Welcome to Arizona. If I get the time, I might save screenshots of both signs.;) I almost said I might shoot the signs!!?? Geez!! I haven't done that in decades!!
