Honus
AI aircraft are not landing here. Is this because of the severe magnetic variations and the location is out of the range of AI engine? it's pretty far north.
mrzippy
What airline or GA AI traffic are you expecting? I'll check up there shortly to see if Alaska Airlines is anywhere around. On the ground at Barrow, Alaska and there is just my Alaska aircraft and some static AI on the ground. This is at 9:00AM. No air traffic. Might have to see if there are any flightplans for Alaska Airlines to be added. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Honus
I created Alaska airlines flights, cargo flights, and Cessna and Learjet flights. Should be something there. I know you can't get AI at Antarctica. They just won't make it that far south.
mrzippy
Well, believe it or not, I finally had an Alaska Airlines flight arrive and land at Wiley Post/Barrow Airport around 5:15PM. I sat at the airport and changed the time later and later until I saw it parked at the Alaska Terminal. I then backed up time to catch the landing and his radio transmissions. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Honus
That's encouraging. I changed times and found a Learjet and a FedEx 727 parked. I'll back up the time to see if they land OK. I did try this at Mcmurdo a while back but never saw any arrive but did see them parked. I think the AI engine runs out of steam that far down.
