FSX gold not activating after installing accelaration expansion...

Hello everyone, thanks for looking...

So after successfully installing and activating FSX Deluxe (it's part of the gold edition in case you don't know), I tried to install the acceleration but it didn't ask me to *activate. I tried starting fsx after the acceleration finished installing, but I got a message saying that activation failed, then the FSX trial loaded... It let me choose to see info online, but it just gave me useless info on activation codes.

 

Any attempt to help is appreciated!!

* I noticed that the disk pack came with activation codes for both FSX Deluxe and Acceleration Pack.

1. run regedit (Windowskey +R)

2. Expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTRO L\CLASS\{4D36E967-

E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

3. After you find the folder, double-click Upperfilters on the right side.

4. Change the value from 0 to PartMgr and/or remove any other settings and then click OK.

5. Close Registry Editor

6. Start FSX/Accel and you should get the registration wizard.

 

 

Be sure to capitalize the appropriate letters!
