lister1
Hey guys, Been flying with just a bog standard joystick and I am wanting to make the jump to a proper yoke with rudder pedals. As you all know they aren't cheap which I am okay with, the only problem I have is I don't want to shell out for a yoke that has a dead zone issue as many have stated with the Saitek yoke, it seems to be prominent in the older models and I am wondering if it has been addressed in the newer models. Any response is greatly appreciated. Many thanks Sean
vgbaron
I have always preferred CH yoke and Rudder pedals. Found them sturdier and easier to configure. lister1
I just can't get away with the way the throttle is.
vgbaron
I use the throttle quadrant so I don't worry about it. I'd rather have a solid yoke. lister1
It's well out of my budget to get the yoke, quadrant and pedals
alanmerry
I have flown with the CH yoke for years and had no problems, so that's probably a recommendation. It was sometime later that I added the throttle quadrant and later a second quadrant. If you have a throttle control on your joystick it may be possible to configure your setup to use that at the same time as using the yoke.
