maximil2 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I cannot edit my ProxyUser.ini file, no matter what i try! When trying to run TileProxy, it just broadcasts a bunch of errors about the tilenet, or whatever it is!
JSkorna Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 1. Why can't you edit the .ini file? Or is it you are not sure what to do/change? 2. The version number of the map server must be the latest version for the map server you are using. If not, only blank tiles will be shown. 3. The exact errors, word for word would be helpful. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png

I can edit the .ini file before I insert it into the TileProxy root folder, but once it's in there, I can no longer save any other edit that I make to the folder. I keep getting, "Access Denied", after I click on "Save As:" So, I right-click on the TileProxy folder itself, and go into the "Properties" and uncheck the "Read-Only" box and apply the settings, but as soon as I close it and go back to making edits in the .ini folder and try to save it, "Access Denied". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7p9Dut1-sg&feature=youtu.be
maximil2 Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 After countless hours of trial and error, I've finally got TileProxy to work with Windows 8.1
