What type of WOAI aircraft is this?

My guess would be an Embraer 100/110/120, or maybe a BAe Jetstream J31/41. I hope you can find the textures for it though!

Thanks everyone! Saab 340 are the winners!

Had a bit of a look, many liveries for the Saab. Some work, some don't. I have checked through everything quickly and not found any specific reason they should not all be working. I opened textures in DXTBmp and even resaved them. Working and not working are all 1024x1024, 16bit, DXT3. Below are two entries from the aircraft cfg. Danish works but Estonian doesn't. The texture folders themselves are also correctly named. If anyone sees anything I missed please point it out. I'll take another good look to see where the error may be but everything does appear in order.

To find the exact plane, write down the N number you see in red flash above the plane in the Sim. Then use the free program File seek. Chose the aircraft folder in File Seek to look in and type in the N number and search. It will find the folder in a second or two.

My guess is an invalid aircraft.cfg.

There is a Saab 340 model update from WOAI which might cure this for you: http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php

Compare the names of the textures (bmps).

Recently I had a similar problem with an AI Tu204 and found SBAI textures with an AIA model...

Thanks, I read your post and then decided I'll copy a texture file from a working 340 texture folder into a NOT working 340 texture folder and see if the livery appears. Immediate giveaway came when doing this, I wasn't asked to overwrite any files! I compared and found the filenames were different.

Working filename: FSP_SAAB340B_T1

Not working filename: FSP_SAAB340_T1 (Missing a B)

I'll go through now and fix the rest. I'm pleased all the missing textures are actually in the folders intact. Just need to be renamed.

tiger1962, thanks I'll check that out as well. Probably has the fix for these in it! lol

Edit: I just renamed all the ones with incorrect filenames and they all now work! Thanks to everyone for the help! Much appreciated!

Not shure, if this is correct.

I suppose there are 2 different models, each one uses different texture names.

You renamed a texture and the model uses it. But is this texture really the one of the "B" 340?

In such a situation I split the folder after I have found the model without the "B" and use the texture which fits to the model.

Ok, you're suggesting there might be a 340 and a separate 340B model if I understand correctly?

All the models and textures in the aircraft.cfg are for a 340B. There is only one 340B model file in the 340 folder as well. The incorrect naming was kinda all over the place before I corrected it and not all textures were named as in the example I gave in my previous post. I did also check the textures on the 340 in the FS preview window and all looked good.

The tail number comes from the compiled traffic .bgl file, not the aircraft.cfg, so I doubt a text search would find it.

And it definitely will not find it in the aircraft folder ;)

I agree, I could not found a 340 model without a "B".

Btw, most of my AI Saab 340s are TFS aircrafts (90%)

A fine tool to check your AI is AI Aircraft Editor by Martin Gossmann

Thanks I didn't have that. I've just used Traffic 2005 in the past. I wanted planes flying around, didn't care about flight plan accuracy or out of date airlines. Decided to give WOAI a try for a change. Told myself I'll never start to play with AI because of the time factor involved but geez, that may change. lol

Can see why people do.
