Saitek Cessna Rudder Pedals

Sorry Ladies and Gents (or should that Gender Free!!) Another Pedal thread.

Just bough secondhand saitek cessna rudder pedals. Basically I can not get the brakes to work properly. I have followed Saitek instructions and have the rudder working ok, but the brakes!! Went through Saitek procedure but still not working. One thing is that when I have assigned the left or right toe brakes it does NOT appear as ''Toe Brake' it appears as x axis and Y axis but they do work, when I assigned the rudder, again it comes up as z axis but the rudder worked (when I started the sim, the rudder movement was reversed, so I deleted the 'tick' in the box, pressed ok, when back to sim and it worked the right way!! Now the toe brakes.....as I say, they seem to work BUT the trouble I am having is that after doing all the alterations and pressing 'ok' I do the calibration and untick 'auto rudder' go back into the sim, when the sim is running, down in the bottom left corner there is ''toe braking' sign tap the brake and it goes out (as it should???) BUT it is replaced with 'brakes' (as in the normal running of the Sim (FSX by the way) and it will not move!! If I apply full power it does move and when I tape the toe brakes it does try and go the way of the toe brakes, but because I have the normal brakes sign in the bottom left I cant get speed up to take off.....because of the brakes!! Sorry its been a long first post but I would love to get everything working, the cessna yoke is great on its own but I have the rudder peddle that dont work........yet!!

Try checking reverse on the brake axis (axes).

I'm having a problem with my pedals also when I press the left one the elevator goes full up and when I press the right one the ailerons go to a full left turn. I can't assign the brakes when I select the ASSIGNMENT selection. It only allows ELEVATOR AILERONS AND RUDDER?

WHOSE rudder pedals?

What sim version?

What OS?

 

What other controllers are also in use?
