pvarn
App hangs do happen from time to time even on the best systems. Mostly when the computer is being driven to its limits. Overclocking and/or thermal instability may be a factor. There really is no reliable solution other than to restart the sim and lower some option settings if you can live without them. Sometimes these hangs can resolve themselves if you wait long enough, but I don't. I just kill the sim in the task manager and restart. For me, these more often than not are due to my use of FSINN. The FSFDT Control panel is not 100% stable. I'm careful to force FSFDT to close from the task manager before restarting. The hangs are not frequent enough for me to give up FSINN (about 4 times a year.) There may also be a relationship to desktop task switching, but I have no proof of that. To help with that possibility, make sure your desktop and FSX are set to the same native (recommended) resolution as your monitor and only use 100% DPI. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm
