lefu
Hi fellow simmers, I have a pretty fresh FSX (deluxe) install on my windows 7 sp1 system(FRESS REFORMAT). No addons added only installed UIAutomationCore in main FSX folder. Even if the game seems to be running well, CPU usage doesnt really go down after i close FSX. It keeps hanging around 50 to 60 %. Its gotta be something with the game because the system is low CPU before i open the game.. any ideas ? mabe5454
FSX is one son of CPU single core beast and on top when you close it Win is left to clean up the mess left behind. Worry when FSX slow down to a crawl while plying it cause then the fun begins. Cheers,
jandjfrench
Hi lefu, First, right-click on the taskbar and then "Start Task Manager". Next click the Processes tab and then "Show processes from all users:. See what's using all those CPU cycles. Jim F.

Exactly what i did (before i got back to the forum ;) ) Somehow "windows media player network service" got activated every time i had FSX open And really stays high on CPU, (almost 1.2gig RAM usage...) So i deactivated the service. I'll check how to fix it later..i dont even know what that service does. Job is done here :) Thank you jandjfrench !
