spirittoo
I just have the steam edition of FSX I don't have the box installed. I am having a problem getting the throttle control to work properly. I have CH products throttle, stick, and pedals. The throttle will not response, or when I go into the program the throttle is open and I have no control, so my aircraft crashes. To get it to work some what I have to go into my control settings, go back to the default settings, for the stick and throttle, remove the throttle axis from the stick, pitch and roll axis on the throttle, and keep repeating that process until it works. As it is now ... I have to have the throttle up a bit on the stick, then the main throttle will give me some control, but it's not stable at times. I am using X Plane 11 and I have no problems with the throttle in that program. Any idea how I can correct this problem. kaashaas
Try to calibrate and assign the axis via FSUIPC, that’s what works best. Make sure you delete the default assignments in FSX:SE for the controls you are trying to assign. Grtz., Hans
spirittoo
I don't have that program installed is it needed to get the controls to function properly? I'm not sure how that program works. Are there instruction for it? RCChopper
I don't have that program installed is it needed to get the controls to function properly? No !!! It is a wonderful program and I do have it but for where you are at right now it is not necessary. What does the windows calibration do,or show? You need to look at, and tell us what that is doing first.
spirittoo
I am using CH Products stick, pedals, and throttle. I use the CH program to calibrate the devices. This program overrides the windows calibration. It shows that everything is functioning properly and calibrates with no problem. It must be right because I have no problem with the throttle in XPlane. RCChopper
Well if everything is functioning properly, I would bet you have something wrong in your assignments within fsx.
