johnyyz
When i start up FSX i am at a gate iFLY B737 with the engines running and i shut them down using keypad CTRL + E + F1. When i want to start them up again is it possible using the keypad, i tried CTRL + E and the engine seems to try and start but then shut down. I don't want to have to do it manually. thanks Core i7 10700K OC to 4.6 all cores/EVGA 750W G+ PSU/ MSI Z490 edge mobo/GSkill RAM DDR4 32GB(2X16GB) 3600mhz/ ASUS TUF RTX 3080/ Win10 home/ Asus 32 inch monitor 1440p/ CH Flightstick
kingnorris
I don't have this plane, but it's possible it's not a ctrl+e aircraft. You may indeed have to start it manually. Unless there's an option to do otherwise.. mrzippy
Normally when you can hear the engines spooling and trying to start, then failing, it tends to be a fuel problem (fuel valves need to be turned on). Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
alverthein
johnyyz...I just did what you have described and my report is this.....Keep the CTRL + E keys depressed don't let up.....left engine will spool up slowly but will finally get to around 19.1 and the lower display will read like 341... then you can then repeat the above for the right engine until it fires up like the left engine....and you should be good to go...this will take perhaps a minute or so ...it was not immediate on my IFLY,,,, patience I suppose lol good luck.,.,al v
