Nano potato
Hi, I have recently migrated from FS9 to P3d. I have encountered a problem which I cannot move my viewing angle in the "Spot view" mode like what I could do in FS9. (i.e. Shift+Backspace will take the camera upwards when aiming at the plane or press Shift+Ctrl+Backspace to rotate the viewing angle), I wonder if it was designed not allowing you to move your camera freely around the plane, or if there is a method so that I can move my camera without restricted by using the num pad only. Thanks.
vgbaron
I'm assuming you mean to move it to a different fixed spot and have it stay there as opposed to panning around the aircraft. I've never done it but it is possible. You'll need to locate instructions on the Camera system in either fsx or p3d. When you understand that a bit, locate the spot view camera and adjust it there. The P3D SDK would be a good place to start but you might try google P3D camera tutorial. napamule2
You have 'Spot' view and you have 'Locked Spot' view. The spot view allows change of camera view with the hat-switch. The locked spot view allows change of camera view (in all directions) by pressing SPACEBAR and moving the MOUSE.
