MCE co pilot goes to sleep

This is very strange. When i use Multi Crew Experience with the Aerosoft Airbus A18/19/20/21 the co pilot seems to just fall asleep, and wont respond to any commands. The spoken command is shown in red at the top of the screen so the mic is working fine. At first i thought it was just the approach phase that caused to happen, but it's any phase after take off. The only work around is to disconnect and reconnect MCE, and he never again goes to sleep.

I have posted on their forum but they seem as flummoxed as i am. Doesn't do it with any other aircraft....can anybody shed any light on this?
