FSX weird behavior of the plane on the ground

Hello guys. I need help. I've witnessed almost everything in FSX. I've dealt with so many problems and issues. I've tweaked the sh*t out of the fsx.cfg but here I am. I wanted to do flight with my freeware posky 747-400 KLM (I have over 400 hours with this bird and no problems) but when I loaded this aircraft in the menu the gear was deployed that never happened and it was weird. I started to think.. ehm what the hell is wrong? I loaded the game and this happened (see video). I have no idea what is happening. I have not changed anything in my sim. I have not done anything with this aircraft or its files :D. Only this plane does that, other planes are ok freeware/payware. I cant control the plane, engines, I cant control landing gear, engines starts automatically and jumping to 100% from idle on their own

Thank you for any ideas

This is actual footage "live" no replay used. I waited for game to load to 100% and then started recording. Yes I replaced it with default aircraft.cfg and it still does the same it is the only plane with this problem.

Are you creating a totally new flight plan or starting a "saved flight" or flying your default flight and just changing aircraft and airports? We can probably do without the swear word with a letter missing! We get your point.

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

It does not matter if it is saved flight and I loaded it or fresh flight (selecting airport and aircraft). Result was the same as you can see in the video. Weird thing about it was that the plane as soon as I selected it was showing gear deployed (in fsx) I dont know how to call it, but in FSX if you choose some model it previews it in the window below and you can rotate the plane zoom in or out etc. So in this preview the landing gear is deployed and that never happened to me before.

Sorry about the bad word but it was not meant in negative way. I'm making fun of myself and the fsx game that it still can surprise me :D

Shut fsx down.

Reboot the pc.

With fsx closed,

In the fsx.cfg file, change:

situation="PATH TO FILE"

to:

situation=

then start fsx

to restore the normal default flight.

It did not help (unfortunately).

I have had various screwy things happen over the years and I have learned that many times the existing default flight becomes somehow corrupted. When that happens I delete the existing default flight, which in my system is Previous Flight. And you must delete the .flt, .wx. and .fpl files in Flight Simulator Files. Then there is a flight around called Start Flight for Complex Aircraft and that flight places you in the ultralight at the default starting point. Then I just make a copy of the 3 files associated with that flight and rename them "Previous Flight". Place those in the Flight Simulator Files folder and FSX will restart using that flight. Usually those steps result in a clean start.

Ok I will check it but I dont think this is it because I already installed the plane again and I'm not using any pre-load settings in terms of selected airport or plane neither I have ticked some flight as my default flight.

If it turns out to be just that aircraft acting weird I found a great POSKY 747 KLM Cargo that I just tried. Excellent revised 2D and full VC and flies great!

I wish that it would be passanger version :D but thank you for this. Models by Ken are very great addition to freeware world of FSX. I will try to use different plane model maybe the problem will go away.

Yes in fact I did. I've installed one payware airport (Aerosoft LKPR) before I noticed that my Boeing 747 is "glitched".

So you will have to backtrack removing sceneries until the FS gets normal again. Try of course (Aerosoft LKPR) first. Use the uninstaller provided by Aerosoft for the LKPR scenery.

Good luck.

Cheers,

I will try it. Do you think that it is really possible to change behavior aka make one freeware plane totally useless by installing scenery? :)

The Posky 747 uses XML to control the gear. The Default FSX 747 does not. If you used the Default FSX 747 cfg and air then that is your problem. The cfg entry for Center of Gravity, etc will be different. The cnt pts will be different. So that substitution will NOT work.
