FSX or XPlane

Recommended Posts

having experienced so much trouble with FSX and switch/multi panels, I am considering going over to XPlane, has anyone got any advice.

Hi Phil,

Those who use and love FSX will say stick with FSX, whilst users of X-Plane will say go with X-Plane (countless forum posts over the years are a testament to this).

If I were you, I would go and try the demo at X-Plane.com and see how you get on.

I use both FSX and X-Plane and despite their obvious faults, enjoy using both.

All the best

Dominic

+1 Dom!

I will add P3D to that list as well. I have tried all three and find each has advantages and disadvantages. I'd give each one a good try before I spent so much on payware that I got too locked in on any choice.

In fact, even though I have a ton invested in FSX stuff, I'll have to look at the new P3D v4 64 bit as well.:eek:

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

I would say x-plane or p3d only because it is 64 bit. 32 bit flight simulators will be going away, I give them 5 years and no one will be using 32 bit sims.
