nightowl56
if the ILS is "off Center" on a runway how can this be corrected?
mrzippy
http://www.scruffyduck.org/airport-design-editor/4584106799 Probably by using Airport Design Editor in the above link. Do you think it was a mistake by whoever designed the airport or is it really like that in RL? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! tgibson_new
If you give the airport and runway, we might be able to find out. For the US you can go here: https://www.airnav.com/airports/ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
il88pp
Start a flight. At that airport is easiest. While parked view the map in fsx. Click the airport and they the info. Check if the runway heading is the same as the ils heading. Sometimes they are not. That's not an error or fault with fsx. It's like that in real life as well. (Or was so at the time fsx was made, in 2006.) it's to keep approaching planes on parallel runways clear of each other. Or clear of buildings. Or to help keep noise away from the people living in a city. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
Was thinking of fsx. Fs9 was made in 2004. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
