Allen Craig
Did the author of this Commercial Level Simulations Piper PA-28R-200 Arrow II look at the glob of light on the tail and say, "yup, that's how real airplanes look"? This plane was payware and now is freeware. Glad I didn't pay for that unchangeable glob of light, it's in the model, there is no fixing the size or removing that light. mrzippy
Gotta wonder why you keep complaining about it! You still seem to be flying it! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Allen Craig
Gotta wonder why you think I'm still using it? Just used it to get that pic to congratulate CLS
KCD
That Arrow II, as it came from the developer was a dog, probably why it went freeware! Interestingly, Tiger1962 created a fix (available here) for this plane that brings the Arrow up to specs and also adds items the developer failed to include, like the fail safe gear system for example. That the tail light seems to big for you is interesting; I never gave it a second thought. The tail light on my Ercoupe was smaller, dimmer, and you had to be chewing the tail with your prop to see it. I sort of like the fact that this baby can be seen from a distance! The Arrow II as modified by Tiger 1962's add-on is a joy!!!
PAULCRAIG
Even though it is part of the model, meaning the light effect has been attached to the model instead of assigning coordinates for the light position in the aircraft.cfg, it will still have an effect file to produce the light, if it is using a custom effect for the light source (non default) it is possible to edit the effect using a tool thats provided with the FSX SDK.
