Allen Craig Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 FSNavigator for FS2004 is a wonderful program and ONE of the reasons I still use FS2004 Bought it, OWN it, and do what I wish with it, and don't owe the FSNav folks another penny. fs TRAMPS, on the other hand 'allow' me to rent their nearly exact duplicate of FSNav for 35 bux per year, or 100 bux for 4 years. At their rates I would have by now paid over 500 bux for the use of FSNav AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN fs TRAMPS Quite simple to plan a flight using FSNav in FS2004 then use that info in FSX
Karl Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Couldn't agree more. He is trying to generate more revenue but completing ignoring the essence of supply and demand. I think he is shooting himself in the foot. Karl I7-4770k, ASUS Z87pro, 8GB RAM, GTX770 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RCChopper Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Here is your solution. Very similar to FSNav but it has many additional features to it. It takes a bit more to learn but is still very easy to use and has an excellent manual that explains every feature very well. http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/

I still prefer FSTramp for a couple of reasons. It takes less resources and I can pop it up/close it with a click of a joystick button. What the developer doesn't seem to understand is that he does have competition. Yes his product is better in some people's opinions, such as mine. But how much better? Not 40 euros a year, that's for sure. Personally, after some email communication with him, I think he's an arrogant prick. I wouldn't give him another dime unless he offers something too damn cheap to say no to. For now, version 5 works just fine. Karl I7-4770k, ASUS Z87pro, 8GB RAM, GTX770 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Allen Craig Posted March 21, 2017 Author Posted March 21, 2017 I've use Plan-G, it's quite cumbersome compared to FSNav, but useful
tgon Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 FS Commander has done the job for me for many years. Just a one-off purchase that won't break the bank. Best, Phil Best, Phil https://www.facebook.com/groups/UKdirect/
CRJ_simpilot Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Can Plan G open in FS? That's what I liked about FSNav. OOM errors? Read this.
