Installed My Traffic 6, messed up Orbx FTX add-ons

Recommended Posts

Well, I don't know why, but My Traffic 6 did kill FTX Global / Vector / Europe LC as far as I could see.

But it was not 100% lost. For example, the take off lane was still fine, but the ground textures were bad, and lots of roads were disconnected. The ground was incorrect at places, they were looking like a sudden 'cut'. Also the water sides / coasts are really nice with Vector. But they were like normal again. Also after deleting the scenery and uninstalling My Traffic. So in general, it was a totally messed up. And I could not fix it.

1) Framerate dropped a lot, so I wanted to look for a solution.

2) I flied a couple of times, and noticed the world was looking worse.

3) Uninstall MyTraffic 6 didn't help, and the performance remained bad.

4) The textures remained bad.

Now, I just uninstalled everything and gonna re-install. Is there any possibility to have a back-up for this (?) in future, without FSX will have problems with registry, and all that? I would like te re-try My Traffic 6 later, but don't want this re-install again.

(much download time)

The great thing is, I put my 4790K on 4,7Ghz@1,25V again, after beeing lazy to do that (did a BIOS reset)

Welcome to the forum(s). I don't see any way that MT6 could cause that but I guess anything is possible. I'd address the question to the guys at the ORBX forum(s): http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/15-full-terrain-experience-ftx-payware-support-forum/ . That's probably the quickest way to figure out what's going on.

Thanks! I want to add. There is no problem anymore. Things are totally fine. I could install Traffic 6 without problem. In this video I use it fine. But I didn't fine tune things. Also this is FSX, and will move on to P3D V3 when I got my graphic card back. I hope with DX11, to have more frames per second and I'm pretty sure it will.
