jprism
I am currently running an Intel® Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.7Ghz 2.71ghz trying to use FSX Steam. I keep having sound problems and an occasional lockup. What in your opinion would do the job? Right now I mostly fly the FSX 172 and Mooney. CRJ_simpilot
A new CPU can help, but it won't stop the sound issue I reckon. You might have something else going on there. OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
PAULCRAIG
It could be a number of things, your settings in FSX maybe to high or your system could be getting low on memory. It would be a good idea to post more info, more system detail (RAM & operating system), FSX settings & if you are using any addon scenery.
il88pp
have you fixed the "attempt to call a nil value" error yet? your other thread: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?303313-FSX-Steam-Problems&p=2004918#post2004918 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jayvee43
I'm also running a i5-6400 CPU @ 2.7Ghz on FSX gold edition with add ons and all my slides at max, exept the weather which is always clear skies. No problem. I fly A2A Piper Cub with Heidi. When I check my CPU Clock speed, I get average 3.2 GHZ. Just to let yous know.
