Get ready for the Holidays treat boys!

This is my culmination of post and shots for the year 2016 and what better way of doing it with this remarkable product by

the people of "Aeroplane Heaven".

Honestly I put all my heart and soul for the creation of this post/shots (with some photoshop editing) for the joy and

 

pleasure of everyone of my friends in this great forum.

The subject:

“Black Jack/ The Joker is wild” Serial Number 41-24521 63rd BS/43rd BG, South-West Pacific, 1943

This B17-F was operating in the Pacific, making night attacks against Japanese Navy ships.

Having achieved many successful sinkings including the destroyer “ Hayashio “ Black Jack finally succumbed when

 

striken by a terrible storm she was forced to ditch in deep water, the crew being saved by locals but the aircraft sinking to

 

a watery grave. Her wreckage has recently been discovered on the sea-bed near Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.

WOW, WOW and double WOW!!! There is something beautiful about that big, lumbering aircraft, it never falls from grace and never seems to appear ancient or outdated. What a fabulous post... Thank you, my friend, and a Merry X+Christmas to you and your family, Gonzalo!

Well done Gonzalo, great displaying of one of the best Bombers ever designed. You showed it off with great scenery hard to believe it is Flt sim. Kenny
