mallcott
If you didn't back up the original, delete the file and when you start FSX it'll build a new one. Be aware that this only restores default settings - if you wanted to restore back to what you actually had before you messed around with the .cfg then you should have backed it up. PhantomTweak
If you have one FSX on you computer, the config file will be AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE\fsx.cfg, not fsx_se.cfg. That's only if you have both DSX and FSX:SE on your computer. That's the way mine is. I only have FSX:SE, and my config file is FSX.cfg. I've been looking for that for several years! Where did you get it?? Was it expensive? Can I have a copy for free??:p Don't hit me!;) Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! jorgen.s.andersen
DSX is the North Korean version of FSX, with integrated Sooper-Dooper Acceleration, so that an An-2 will fly mach 3.8 and carry 3,000 tons of material with which to annihilate capitalist scum. It is only available in the Kim Jong-Un fan shop in Pyongyang, costs USD 2,895.95 (cash only) and comes in a plain wrapper to deceive imperialist customs into thinking it's chocolate. As the OP correctly mentions in the original thread heading, the configuration file in DSX is called FSX.DFG and can only be edited with a North Korean word processor that handles the North Korean character set used for dealing with the aforementioned imperialist capitalist scum. Jorgen On my DSX AN-2 I washed off the imperialist capitalist scum with some Democratic Peoples Republic soap. Available from at least two stores nationwide upon personal representation with appropriate travel documentation and permit. It is of course the Greatest and most Glorious Soap ever made. It really made the grey-and-concrete scheme `pop`. I then rinsed it down with a tub of lard, in tribute to Great Leader...:p Ah, the importance of grammar - doughball-chucking of spilling before posting... jorgen.s.andersen
Mr. Zippy, if you need any help with the smearing, just let me know. As a former Sergeant Major, I know a little about smearing. BTW, I "forgot" to tell you that the product only runs on the NK copycat version of Windoze, and if you try to fly outside the borders of the worker's and peasant's democratic empire, you'll immediately be shot down by the Mig-29 that's been trailing you all the time.... PhantomTweak
I don't bother with spell-check either, as Mr. Zippy is so happy to point out :D My spelling is directly related to how full my coffee system is. Too much blood in there and everything just goes to heck in a hand-basket. Oh, by the way, I spent 10 years in, and I've been married to a 27 year career Master Chief's daughter for the last 18 years. I think I've become numb to SgtMaj's, as well as the rest. :D Have fun, y'all!
