annber Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Aircraft: a well known Goose Scenery: a wip What a glorious day for flying. Take off from solid ground, land in water. Sounds familiar...:) Bernardo. ANNBER https://www.facebook.com/Photosim-Labs-133663917277630/

azzaro Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I know there's a cleverly disguised dig at someone there. I just can't for the life of me determine who? Anyhow, an excellent set of caps there. And, if I were you I'd wear a goalie mask for a while. — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10
adamb Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Yes, but the difference being, your water landing was intentional and not out of necessity like someone else we know. ;) Super set of shots Bernardo!! :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
andrewkif Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Those are some beautiful shots! :pilot: “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.†- Leonardo da Vinci :pilot:
KCD Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I love water landings, intentional or otherwise! Where is he? Did he drown after his last "landing"?

annber Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Darren, Bob, Adam, Andrew, Klee, pugilist2, thank you all for the nice comments, much appreciated. Just in case someone is confused, the pictures are of Cat cay, south of Bimini. Bob, as Adam said, I was simply and innocently referring to how much fun it was to intentionally take off from solid ground and intentionally land in water.:) no accidental landing there:(. Just in case though, I am paying close attention to my rear view mirror. Klee, maybe he is royally pissed at all of us for casting doubt on his skills.:D ANNBER https://www.facebook.com/Photosim-Labs-133663917277630/

Rupert Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Great set of pics Annber, the scenery goes very well with the plane. Enjoyed the second one. Kenny +1! However, I have to admit I'm in awe of anyone who can fly outside the plane! Unless I set all kinds of functions to Auto Pilot, I get in trouble in a flash! And no, I can't even fly RC models well. I'm too used to looking out the windshield!:o Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

Rupert Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Larry, Kenny, Michael & Joe, thank you much for the posts and comments.:):) Michael, I usually just hit pause and then do the screen capture. Well DUH!!:o:o:o I bet that does make things a little easier!! I'm still not used to having a pause button while flying! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
