axlsys
Hi, whats the most cost effective way for me to add at third monitor to my setup? it will be used for gauges. I am currently using 2 monitors side by side, but want to add another underneath. hhans
Hey man. From what I see your graphic card have 3 outputs: 2 x DVI-I 1 x Mini HDMI I'm guessing that you are using 2 DVI ports for your current monitors, so what you need to do is to buy some third monitor with HDMI port, and connect it with HDMI cable. axlsys
Hi, the graphics card has 1 hdmi, 1vga and 1dvi port, I currently have an hdmi, and a vga monitor, but, according to the manual, it can only power 2 monitors at a time. M4TT2016
Yeah some graphics cards despite having 3 ports can only display two. You will need to upgrade video upgrade, however at I would also (if possible of course financially) also upgrade your ram to at least 4gb. Once you've done that then remember that VGA is lower resolution usually than dvi and HDMI. Therefore I'd use the VGA connection for the gauges. axlsys
thanks, but, unfortunately, my computer is maxed out at 3 gb, and a 3 monitor graphics card is out of my price range im afraid. what do you think about usb to vga adaptors? M4TT2016
Fair enough, I understand that position. I wouldn't know about that, I tried the android tablet approach (to add a touchscreen functionality to the gps) and the 3rd party app (whichever I used) always crashed fsx.
