axlsys Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Hi, is there anyway to make the AP Hold buttons perform the same function with keys as they do with mouse clicks? eg, activate the assigned airspeed, rather than match the current airspeed. thanks. theyorks Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 They are already programmed. Look into the dropdown menu under key assignments. For example ALT+H = Heading Hold. I just re-read your post, and I'm thinking you want to assign a speed, heading or altitude with the keyboard. AFAIK you can't do that by default key assignments. I wonder why you would need this, because in real life you have to use your hand to turn the appropriate dials and mouse clicking is the computer equivalent. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
napamule2 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Heading hold is 'CONTROL_+H' (not ALT). You CAN use AP and use key presses. Here is the sequence. Press 'Z' key (Master On/Off). Press 'Ctrl+Z' (Activates 'Alt Hold' at present ALT). Press 'Ctrl+Shift+Z' ('Alt Bug' Select). Press 'Ctrl+H' (Activates 'Heading Hold' at present HDG). Press 'Ctrl+Shift+H' ('Hdg Bug' Select). Press 'Ctrl+R' (Activates 'Airspeed Hold'). Right after press of above combo(s) for 'Select' you then press '=' (Equal) sign to INCREASE and '-' (Minus) to DECREASE 'Selection'. Never mapped to a controller so can't help with that part. Cheers.
