mrzippy
You seem to have a bad AI flight plan or aircraft. Verify by turning all AI sliders to zero and test fly. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
atoryl
Are you running a 3rd party traffic program like Traffic 360?? If so disable it and see if the problem goes away. Also, run a registry cleaner utility as corrupt registry files could also cause this issue. Good luck! PPSFA
You dont mention your OS but whatever it is, with only 2 gigs of RAM you are lucky FS even starts, you should have at least 6 gigs RAM.

I have 2 Gigs of RAM and a 2 Ghz processor and FSX runs pretty well! No payware but plenty of freeware aircraft and scenery. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! fxsttcb
...with only 2 gigs of RAM you are lucky FS even starts, you should have at least 6 gigs RAM. My old rig(used for development today) only has 2GB DDR2-800. That's all the mobo allows. It's been running FSX since RTM and Acceleration since it was first available. "Faulting module name: ai_player.dll" points to either a corrupt AI Aircraft or traffic.bgl. Follow Mr.Zippy's and/or atoryl's advice. The default traffic files are in FSX/Scenery/World/Scenery. They can be disabled by changing the file extension from *.bgl to *.bak If the error goes away, put the traffic back one at a time and test. Once you isolate the culprit, you need to determine if it's the AI Aircraft or *.bgl Loooooong process if you have lots of traffic...Don HAF 932 Adv, PC P&C 950w, ASUS R4E,i7-3820 5.0GHz(MCR320-XP 6 fans wet), GTX 970 FTW 16GB DDR3-2400, 128GB SAMSUNG 830(Win 7 Ult x64), 512GB SAMSUNG 840 Pro(FSX P3D FS9) WD 1TB Black(FS98, CFS2&3, ROF, etc.), WD 2TB Black-(Storage/Backup) Active Sky Next, Rex4 TD/Soft Clouds
