Timberleaf
I just started to get my feet wet with the A2A Cessna Skylane 182. I love the plane. For my daughter, who loves Disney's Frozen (Elsa), I did a repaint in her honor. It is my first repaint of the Cessna. Quite a nice plane to have, IMHO. Timberleaf
Great job on your first repaint Timberleaf. Wish I had that talent. Kenny Thanks. I have done other repaints of other planes, such as the PMDG 737/777. Those repaints over the years have given me just enough knowledge to repaint the Cessna. My family has influenced much of my repaint attempts. Some successes, and several failures. But I have learned a lot. I keep tweaking the repaint on the Cessna. The hardest part to repaint, so far, was getting Elsa lined up on the tail. Timberleaf
Thank you for the kind words. I re-finished the textures on the gauges and night textures (I didn't realize this needed attention until I tried a night flight). Since I don't have a photo editing program like the full Photoshop, I did each screw, bolt, and gauge backing, one at a time. This was fun and trying at the same time, being tedious. Photoshop Elements 9 is what I use, and it works well enough with a .dds plugin.
