They give you 10 downloads/re-installs per license...How many times have you reinstalled it?

As long as somebody didn't get a hold of your license key some how and distribute it all over the net, then Carenado should be able to fix you up.

Be interesting to see what the problem was because I have the B200 as well as 8 more models. I haven't needed to reinstall FSX for over 2 years and installed all the Carenado planes only once. So let us know what they say.

They came back to me this morning and unlocked the installation.

Now it runs but midway through the installation I get an error that dll.xml is not found under C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE. The file is under default C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX so the installation is looking in the wrong place. I ran the patch from Carenado site before trying to install again but no luck. I still get the same error.

I'm stuck.

Great to hear :)

I noticed in the Carenado 'Updates' this...

Installer can't find dll.xml file

Some people have reported that when running the installer they get a message that the installer can't find the path for the dll.xml file.

Sometimes P3D v2 presents some issues with the installation path causing many issues such as a weather radar malfunction.

Download this file, unzip it, double click on the .exe, select your simulator and click on patch.

Is this the patch you installed? I noticed that the B200 is only available for FSX (boxed) and Prepar3D. Did you install the B200 into FSX (boxed) OR FSX SE? If so, you might need to run this update if you have any operational errors.

I'm using FSX-SE. There's an option to install onto SE. So this is definitely an SE version.

Now that you mentioned the weather radar I checked. When I select stormy weather the radar is working properly. But when I switch to major thunderstorms the radar is empty. So it looks like my problems aren't over yet.
