BartZiemski
I though it would be a good idea for us to share tips and tricks of editing textures. That way we can improve our techniques and final products. I'm very new to texture editing but I hope to get better at it. My tip: I found for tricky objects, especially gradient (multiple gradient) fills Inkspace works very well. And it's free. Since it works with vectors, intricate shapes are also easily achievable. Gimp doesn't handle gradient fills that well. Copy-paste selections between Gimp and Inkspace works perfectly with object sizes maintained every time. mallcott
Not necessary. There are designer forums specifically for this function, so as not to clutter up the regular forum. Better to post there.

il88pp
I remember inkscape. Used to have it installed. Maybe still is. Probably kept the installer, but was open source, so should still be around. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
