springbok12
I have recently downloaded Kulula.com (South African budget airline) flightplans plus required aircraft namely faib 737-800. Everything compiles fine no errors , nothing missing all aircraft configs check out fine, as do flightplans. However the aircraft in the flightplans do not appear at any of the airports in the airports.tx file. Ive tried half a dozen times no joy has any body got any clues ? gaputz
There are three things I would check. 1. Make sure that you are running your AI traffic at a percentage value that equals or is better than what is called for in the flightplan file. To make sure, set your AI traffic in the sim to 100% and check to see if your aircraft turn up; 2. Double check to make sure the aircraft titles in the aircraft file of your flight plan match exactly the titles in your FAIB aircraft configuration file for the FAIB 738; 3. Double check to make sure the model = and sim = names in the aircraft configuration file of your subject repaint match up exactly with the name of the model folder and air file. For instance, if the model folder is called something like "winglet" then you must have winglet in the model = line. Those are the three things I always check if I get a problem like that. springbok12
I have already checked as you have suggested but still no joy, I'm wondering wether there is a limit to entries in the aircraft.cfg file as my faib 737-800 has more than 150 entries for 150 aircraft
gaputz
I don't think having that many entries should be an issue. But, with that many, another thing you could do is check to make sure there are no [fltsim.X] numbering problems with the file. As I recall none of the aircraft after a numbering error will show up. I might be wrong but something tells me that having the [fltsim.X] entry in all caps also causes a problem. Greg
tgibson_new
Are you checking the departure times in the flight plans and going to the airports at that time? Are you going there using GMT time, since that's what AI flight plans use? Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
