31448
Would anyone be aware of scenery for Castel Gandolfo on lake Albano? The lake is there in the default but the castle and related buildings are not. Seems a pretty important area to miss. Thanks.
gwillmot
I'm sorry .... must have fallen asleep in Geography class .... but where is this thing of which you speak? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
PhantomTweak
I DID fall alseep in Geography, usually. To me, there's California, Oregon, Washington, and...back east (waves hand dismissively). :p That was always my world view. At least unit I joined the Corps, and they sent me all over. Really broadened my view a LOT! :D :D I still have no idea where Lake Albano is though. I'll see what I can find though... Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! old_wombat
Castel Gandolfo has been very famous, and rightfully so, over the last half millenium. Google is your friend and he's free. As is Wikipedia. Steve from Murwilllumbah.
Avechelice
Hello, Italy "Summer camp" of the pope :D Regards.http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/a/bye.gif If you gave a couple of monkeys a box of ballpoints, enough paper, and enough time, they'd eventually finish up writing the complete works of Shakespeare :)
old_wombat
I will start with a profound and sincere pre-event apology to anyone about whom the next comment does not apply, but might feel slighted by it anyway. Tweak and gwilmot: Although it is highly likely that most people, including me, will understand where you are coming from and what you are saying, you do realize, do you not, that both your comments and your (seemingly proud?) lack of geographic and historical knowledge about this are what would lead many people to classify you as "Typical Ugly American". Do you realize that???? Steve from Murwilllumbah.

Do you realize that???? No, I do not. I feel it is more of a reflection of someone who posts a location that is somewhat "obscure" without identifying exactly where it is at. My comment about falling asleep in geography was merely "tongue in cheek" (a saying common here in uglyville). With that, I'm sure that you are correct that you have been around enough to understand that no pride was involved in the comments. Hence, your comments just put a negative spin on things that simply misguided the way things are to be perceived (Are you sure you're not running for US President this year?) P.S. I DID look this place up prior to even posting. My initial post was to show it was NOT a "pretty important area" to many in world ... especially as related to flight simulation. :o [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
tiger1962
Would anyone be aware of scenery for Castel Gandolfo on lake Albano? It may have been included in the payware Lago/Cloud9 Rome city scenery for FS2004, if you can still find it, or it will definitely be in the FS2004 Italy Lazio photoscenery (in 5 parts) by Fulvio Mazzokan. Guys, it is only a game, let's have a bit of fun really!!! What is this Italy that has been spoke about? All I could find in my books was something that looks like a boot? 31448
Well... I am genuinely sorry for not being more specific, I really should have stated it was in Italy. I will not request UN-specific information in the future. I thought we were all friends here, clearly I was in error there as well. And, thank you Tiger1962, I will check into that. Garciamk4
It may have been included in the payware Lago/Cloud9 Rome city scenery for FS2004,. To the Original Poster I happen to have the Old Lago Cloud9 Senery Tiger 1962 mentioned Installed and Active for Rome area they only include the City and enhanced Airport scenery for Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport [LIRA] I took off from LIRA and headed south towards Lake Albano and did not see the castle. Below are just screens shots i took flying over the city. http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-008_2_zps8fbfbdfj.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-004_2_zpscwem7x3z.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-005_2_zpsgzne7klq.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-007_2_zpsfmylxuy6.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-006_2_zpsf3mrphaj.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-010_2_zps9fzr6ccb.jpg http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2016-aug-9-011_3_zpseju7keiz.jpg Intel i7 2600 16GB RAM 4GB Nvidia GTX970....... Garciamk4
Or it will definitely be in the FS2004 Italy Lazio photoscenery (in 5 parts) by Fulvio Mazzokan. To the OP: If you are interested in the scenery Tiger1962 mentioned Above by Fulvio Mazzokan you can pick it up here http://simviation.com/simviation/?ID=85&page=2&mark=599 NOTE: that even though the Castle may be included in one of those packages it probably wont be a 3d Model [.AGN]l like the Airports but just a 2d captured satellite image of the castle instead. And it can take some time to download the large files depending on your ISP download Speed I'm currently Running FIOS 50up/50Dwn and tried downloading one of the parts mentioned above and it states 15min to download most of the sites have a Cap how many Mbs per second your allowed to download. old_wombat
I think we are all still friends here. Aren't we? There are also ugly Australians. Of course there are. We call them Yobbos. The essential characteristic of a Yobbo is that he knowlingly chooses to be one. I frequently choose to be one. Much to my wife's dismay. I didn't know Louisiana was a country. When did it secede? Who is its President? Steve from Murwilllumbah.
Garciamk4
This ought to be fun to follow! The old "Simulator vs Game" debate! +1 Similar to the old FS9 vs FSX debate only here its being refereed to the same sim FS9 Simulator vs Game debate. To some its just a game but for most of us as mentioned many times its not a game but a simulation big difference between the two depending on how you choose to see it. Lets not start a war over the topic let those choose how they wish to define it, I vote Simulation over game anytime. Its a shame how some people wish to state a bad opinion on a post and start a war instead of actually answering the OP Question.:( Intel i7 2600 16GB RAM 4GB Nvidia GTX970....... Please be Adviced that i Am not offending anyone nore am i taking sides. qwillmot1988103 Louisiana is not a (Country) its a (State) just wanted to clear that up. i say this cause on your last reply you refered to Louisiana as a Country. The State of Louisiana does kinda resemble the shape of a boot ;) (Are you sure you're not running for US President this year?)
