mrzippy
Flying using A/P? Proper speed for descent? Proper descent rate? I never had that experience. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
il88pp
Always center the rudder trim before engaging autopilot. If trim is of center before engaging AP then strange things can happen. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
xtreme76
it happens with the airbus. decent speed is 200 or less, flaps 1. the trim has been centered before takeoff
mrzippy
it happens with the airbus. decent speed is 200 or less, flaps 1. the trim has been centered before takeoff Flaps 1 at what altitude? If you are above 10,000 feet then no flaps until you are under. Could you give your whole descent scenario? Cruise altitude and speed, how far from destination, VS during descent. Things like that. You also did not answer my question.....are you using Autopilot while you are descending or hand flying? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! dogdish
Things that cause a plane to bank... 1. Ailerons not centered. 2. Engine throttle L/R not balanced. 3. Rudder not centered to some extent. 4. Joystick needs calibration. 5. Wing tank fuel load imbalance. 6. Crosswind requires counter input of all above. Centering is numpad 5. If you have a joystick, it usually has centering trim wheels also. If you are on or near your approach to your destination, you should be low, but not dangerously low on fuel. I would assume you have set up your fuel before your flight. theyorks
Flying on APP. Are you on the ILS? If not, it could be the A/P lining the aircraft up. Sent from my tablet thingy!

PhantomTweak
The day the squirrel went berzerk, At the First Self-Righteous Church... Better a squirrel, by far, than a ferret! Did you know that in, I believe, it is Scotland they have a drinking game called Ferret-Legging. They lay down, and shove a ferret into their pant's leg to see what it does! Then bet how long the guy can last... I hate to think about some of the bites THEY get!! Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!
