Rupert
While this isn't a sim screenie, I thought it might be interesting to view. According to a AOPA article, this is the last Martian Mars still flying. They say it has the wing span of a 747 and drafts 4.5' of water. Unless you live near Lake Winnabego you've probably never seen one.;) I just added a few more shots. Amazing plane!! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. azzaro
 Martian? Is this Flightsim or X-Files? An amazing aircraft to be sure. lorby-si
Hello @ll, here are a few simulator screenshots of the Virtavia Martin Mars. I am using it to fight fires, it has a good carrying capacity. Oliver Binder LORBY-SI

Rupert
GREAT SCREENIES OLIVER!! I had no idea that plane was available in sim form. Some of the RW pictures from AOPA show the Martian in action as a firefighter as well. And you did a great job of duplicating the pictures I only copied and pasted with screenies!:cool: You are a screenie natural! I may have to look into getting one of those Martian sims myself! lorby-si
Hi @ll, many thanks for your replies! Btw. the Virtavia product is not "top of the line". Only buy it if it is on sale. I got it because there aren't that many flying boats around (and I am not too good at finding the right stuff in the library anyway). Never had a Virtavia model before too, and I was curious. Still, it is a nice addition to go with my FireFighter X (which is how the last screenshot came to pass). If you like them even more impressive, search for the "sr45.zip" in the library. loki
Why bother with a garage? Buy the plane and live in it at the local lake or harbour. :pilot:
