strange split screen when AN-2 aircraft loads

Some kind of hint how to fix.

Did not select new window.

Does it happen only when this aircraft loads? Where was it downloaded from-file name?

Me thinks it has something to do with the [Default View] entry in panel.cfg.

 

IIRC that's a leftover from previous versions (e.g fs9), and I "think" the entry can just as well be deleted.

Better make a backup first, as it's all behind a large bunch of cobweb in my memory !!!

FSX keeps informing me that the Extra-300.Wiskey-Compass is obsolete.

 

Panel cfg does not list as such but there is a hole in VR panel for mag compass

That fixed it!

Now to get all panel gizmos fixed.

Need to translate engine start sequence.

The hot points crash sim [Window Titles]

Window00=Main Panel

Window01=left panel

Window02=ERROR_PANEL

Window03=GIK Ext

Window04=RadioPanel

Window05=ADF ARK-9

Window06=NL-10

That looks like the FS9 gauge which should work in FSX.

 

Your download might have the FS2002 version.

 

If you have FS9, borrow the gauge from there, or borrow the gauge from the FSX Extra.

I've had that issue with aircraft, they get deleted immediately.
