Nvidia Inspector question.

Yes, MS Flight Simulator X

About 1/2 way down the total list. Same as FSX. FSX-SE and FSX same same. Needs a few adjustments to get the very best performance, along with some changes to the FSX.cfg file, but it works fair to middlin' as-is.

Is there one for FSX-SE in particular? No, but given that the two, FSX-SE and FSX are the same, the one I showed for FSX works great, with a few minor adjustments, as I said.

Does that answer your question?

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Okay, nice to know that it doesn't have one for FSX-SE.

I got the latest version of NvidiaInspector and found that the Profile is not with program itself anymore but separate on its own (NvidiaProfileInspector.exe).

The profile is now called "MS Flight Simulator 10" (no X).

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I did a repair of Win 10 saving everything and thought the old profile had been saved too. Not so. But the FSX looks like very closed to that with Kosta's improvements but I didn't check until now. Line repaints on the fuselage specially around the windows not completely good but still good.

Cheers,

A super-good guide to what NI settings to use is THIS ONE. It covers all of them beautifully. It's kinda long, but well worth the time to read through.

I didn't know they had a new profile out for MSFSX. I find something that works, I stick with it. The one I DL'd originally, with the tweaks from that Forum post I linked and Kosta's tweaks, works so well, I don't see any need to update it :)

Besides, If I DL the new one, I'll have to go through and make all the changes to it again, and I'm lazy :)

Good luck with it though!
