loki
It's based on the number of posts, and really doesn't mean much beyond denoting how many posts a person has. Someone could post very frequently and run up the count in weeks or months (hopefully not days), or post once or twice per week and take years to reach senior member status. N2056
Yup...I am well aware of how post counts get bumped up  Robert Kerr 3D Modeler & Texture Artist I7 4790K @ 4.4ghz, GTX-970 w/4GB, 8gb DDR 3 RAM, two SSDs, and Win 7 64 bit. n4gix
Well, for some of us at least our post count reflects actual contributions and not just 'bump my post count' posts... I estimate that ~5% of my posts fall into another category entirely - being neither fish nor fowl - of which this one is a prime example! Bill Leaming http://smileys.sur-la-toile.com/repository/Combat/0054.gif Gauge Programming - 3d Modeling Military Visualizations Flightsim.com Panels & Gauges Forum Moderator Flightsim Rig: Intel Core i7-2600K - 8GB DDR3 1333 - EVGA GTX770 4GB - Win7 64bit Home Premium Development Rig1: Intel Core i7-3770k - 16GB DDR3 - Dual Radeon HD7770 SLI 1GB - Win7 64bit Professional Development Rig2: Intel Core i7-860 - 8GB DDR3 Corsair - GeForce GTS240 1GB - Win7 64bit Home Premium NOTE: Unless explicitly stated in the post, everything written by my hand is MY opinion. aircav1970
And some of us posted a lot of screenshots....hence my "Top Gun" status on my sig. However I rarely post anything these days as the forum has not held much appeal for me the last couple of years....too many "Negative Nellies" around here for my taste.
