b6ifc81
Hi all, I'm still relatively new to FSX, but not new to the FS world. I've been installing sceneries for years without issue, but I'm a little stumped on this one. I currently use FSX:SE, and I've installed freeware scenery before without incident. However, I'm encountering a problem now where the "add new area" option doesn't seem to work - in that, when I click on the desired scenery, it doesn't enter the list of sceneries in the library. I'll include three pictures to show you the steps I took. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! George Oh, for the love!
mrzippy
Can I assume you are running Windows 7? On the 3rd screen do not click OK to add that scenery. Click, instead, anywhere in the white area! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
b6ifc81
Mr Zippy you're a life saver! Thank you for your help, and now that I think back on it, that's exactly what I did before. And yes, I'm using Win7...gotta love its quirks! Cheers! George Oh, for the love!
