Hi Guys,

i am switching from fs2004 to fsx.here i found one thing that i am not use to

in fs2004 cockpit view, u can set the distance in each angle up, down, left, right, wing view and so on. each angle can set different distance of view

but in fsx, once u click view - or + the all angle of view will be the same.

so my question is how can i solve this in fsx? is there a way for me to set different distance of view in each angle in fsx?

thanks,

Jack

You talking about the FSX virtual cockpit (VC) accessed with key F9, or the 2D cockpit (key F10)?

If it's the VC, your head is free to swivel like a ventriloquists dummy, and you can also set the eyepoint positions and throw in some zoom in or out to customise the view to your liking.

The 2D cockpit is more restricted and I don't like it myself.

I posted some pretty pics here that might interest you-

The biggest difference is that FSX starts up in the VC, or Virtual Cockpit, and FS9 starts in the 2D cockpit.

In either one, you can gain access to the other with the push of a button. In FS9, hit S, in FSX F10. And SHFT+ either one to go back.

Sounds like you prefer the 2D cockpit. So when you start up FSX, hit F10 and awaaaay you go!

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!
