anitelite
now that my joystick issue is resolved, i thought i'd try the virtual cockpit mode again. The instant I tried it, I remembered why I never took an interest in it. My pixel fidelity isn't high enough for accurate instrument displays. So....suggestions on a moderately priced 19"+ monitor with sharp resolution for virtual cockpit work ?? Jim
Sselv
Within each resolution (720, 1080, etc) they are all very similar in my experience. Get as big a one as you can afford is my suggestion. I have a 40 inch 1080P that used to be my bedroom tv, but we ungraded downstairs and shifted things around. the 40 is awesome! Mine took some tweaking to get a good crisp picture.....but it's great now. I use the HDMI input.....which I suppose is standard fair today. ScatterbrainKid
Some FSX planes have got better VC resolution than others. For example the default Maule VC is pretty good, here's how it looks on my 24" monitor at 1360 x 768, and don't forget you can also adjust the zoom and eyepoint positions to make VC's look good- http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g64/PoorOldSpike/sub2/FSX-eyepoint2_zpsdttalvsl.jpg~original PS- MORE PRETTY PICTURES and talk about eyeballs on page 35 of this thread- https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?248567-How-do-you-keep-FSX-interesting/page35
