Ken Thompson
Hi all. A huge problem for me. I downloaded the GSX update and made a purchase of an FS Dreamteam airport. After downloading the update and purchased new airport I exited FSX. Upon attempting to start FSX I found that it would go through the normal start up sequence (FSX page and the circle moving) but it abruptly exits/disappears after about 15 seconds. I cannot get FSX to start up. I did a restore and even uninstalled GSX with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions? mrzippy
Could it be that something messed with your Logbook? Go to My Documents/Flight Simulator X folder and open it. Look for Logbook.bin and rename it so when you start FSX it will rebuild a new one. See if that helps. If it works, then download and run a Logbook repair tool. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
