thanks gene, rupert, steve, kenny and adam and klee!

rupert and kenny: i agree the vid is a nice idea. as to the sound, i was instantly disappointed, especially after the way they advertised it. bill stacks review of this plane has a reply saying they found a much better sound file, going to try that one.

klee, going to do a big post of it soon!

Good Luck on your sound queries! I'd love to hear those radial sounds again! One of my favorite memories flying choppers was the sound of the 1820 Radial Recip. in the H-34S! It didn't make a lot of power, at least compared to a turboprop. It leaked oil and fuel everywhere. It might and sometimes did catch on fire before it started. But what a wonderful sound when it was running correctly!!!;)

I never want to fly another! But I still can remember that sound! There's nothing like that I've ever heard!

Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

Love those interwar planes! All the grace of a Jenny with the power of a Jug! Can't be beat.

I look forward to more shots and more liveries. — Bob

thanks, bob! I agree, some of those planes are so very appealing aesthetically.

actually there won't be other liveries; this is just flight's gulfhawk only. u can tell its not a repaint of an f3f by the "bumps" on the cowling and the lesser amount of framing on the canopy. i could have gotten the new aeroplane heaven f3f which does come with a bunch of liveries and has a gulfhawk repaint available. was thinking about it. but the gulfhawk is a lifelong fave of mine, and when this more accurate model came out i jumped on it. planning to do a big post of it soon.
