westway
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?
jandjfrench
Looks like an OS problem. I don't know what's up with the black bars on the sides of the screen but if this just happened I'd do a system restore to a time before the problem appeared. Unless you intentionally disabled it System Protection is on for "C". Jim F.
PhantomTweak
It looks, at a quick glance, like the picture you choose for your desktop background is just not he right size and/or shape to fit your screen. Try one of the included Windows backgrounds and see if they fill the screen. Also, is you desktop resolution still on the Native Resolution? If you changed it a lot, like if you went from 1920X1080X32 to 1040X768X16 it'll look like this. In my opinion, for what good it is, because your Icons show up fine in the black areas, it's not an OS problem, but a change you made to the background picture, or settings, that may be the problem. Does that help? Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Sgt, USMC, 10 years proud service, Inactive reserve now :D
StringBean
Press Alt+Enter to switch to Windowed Mode and you will be able to see the aircraft preview. You do not have an OS problem and there is nothing wrong with your Desktop background, it looks great. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots. westway
No, no, no, this is a screen shot, the black bars and other data has no bearing on the question, the black area where the aircraft should be is the question. . . .
maciconte
If using windows 10, make sure not to check the preview DX10 Preview Mode. Just a guess, but give it a try. Good luck!
