mrzippy
I thought this to be the best way to end the "work" week! This is a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!;) I took ol' JoJo the twin Bonanza out for a joyride. This was about 10 minutes after takeoff from Boeing Field with downtown Seattle in the background. Now for a couple of great sun shots, one outside and one cockpit view. And now, near total sunset, the final ILS approach to runway 24 at Bowerman. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

The screenshots are great looking. Too bad you don't get paid for it. Kenny

silverheels2
Thank you Sir! May I have another?? (That'll teach me to watch Animal House again!) Yup. I saw it again also. TOGA! TOGA!. I have visited Belushi's grave on Martha's Vineyard.
KCD
Nice post, Zip, good to see you in the air! For Silverheels... Although you think you visited Belushi's grave, you may not have. His grave sight in that quaint burial ground attracted such attention and caused so much disruption to the cemetery that his gravesight was moved shortly after he was buried in West Tisbury. new location... undisclosed but still on the Vineyard somewhere. il88pp
I don't really know what I said wrong there, English not my native tongue and all. And not familiar with AH. Hope I didn't tell you this was your last flight! In case I did, apologies, and Many Happy Returns!!:):p Hope you stay with us forever! Hope that make up for something. il88pp:cool: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
KCD
You didn't insult him, my friend, he was just begging for another beer. He's too used to paling around with His Royal Noble vonPeerhoven. Your apologies are wasted on the Zipster!
mrzippy
Thank you all!:D Adam: The keys are yours, anytime...all for the price of a 6 pack of Iron City. Larry: Could you make that in Niners colors? Lifejogger, silverheels2, and Klee: Thanks guys! I watch Animal House whenever it's on! il88pp: Nothing wrong was said! I was taken over by Kevin Bacon's character in Animal House! Never seen AH?? If you have a TV and a DVD player, I highly recommend renting it. Everyone have a great weekend! NMLW
Adam & Charlie, the Twin Beech is by Eric Dantes available here in the library. There are a number of NFL and NHL paints for it. It's a FS9 bird but may work in FSX. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=76066 Larry

JerryH
Hey Mr Zippy. On your last shot the Bonanza was very close to my boyhood home in Aberdeen, WA. Your mention of Bowerman brought back many memories. I flew out of Bowerman for Boeing Field a few times in a West Coast Airlines DC-3 (several years ago!). Makes me wonder if you have some familiarity with that area. Regards, JerryH

This is back when Oak Harbor was a small podunk town and could be walked end to end in about 1/2 an hour. I rode around with a friend who had a car at that time up towards Bellingham and Anacortes. I wouldn't mind stopping by the OHT for cold Oly!;) Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Kdierken
Its me again mrzippy, I apologize for using that word "Work" what the heck was I thinking?. I too have that bird it is great looking freeware for private planes it is worth putting it in your hanger. From time to time I enjoy taking off in it and taking it for a bit of a short flight myself, I have the stock paint on it, very nicely detailed. I wish I could have the real one as I have always like that style. Kenny
il88pp
Thanks KCD and Zippy. Glad to hear. I won't become proactive about it, but if I ever stumble upon AH I'll be sure to watch.;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
