My new freeware Beechcraft Volpar

Recommended Posts

I just downloaded this freeware Beechcraft Volpar. There are several repaints, it comes with two repaints I added alaska_volpar.zip I think for a freeware plane, this is a nice one to add to your hanger. Type Volpar.zip in file under FS9 general aircraft. Sorry I don't know to hyperlink this directly. When looking out the cockpit window you see port wing and a little bit of the left engine nacelle, if you hat around you can see other parts such as passenger seats. It has VC for the pilots out there that like that type. Nice panel as well. You must put the gauges in the gauges file or it won't work, put effects into effects folder. Try it out. My hat goes out to the guy's out there that give us nice freeware planes. See attachment. Kenny:)

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

This is a wonderful flying airplane. I've had it for several years, and at one time it was all I flew. I did modify the panel somewhat to better suite my flying, nothing drastic, just more complete.

The panel modifications were done in 2010... //This Panel.cfg file created by CfgEdit

// Built Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at 12:08 Build:15090. Cfgedit is a freeware product that remains available at some flightsim sites. It has been rumored not to work in FS2002, FS9, and FSX, but I have no difficulty with it and use it for all of my panel mods and my new. from scratch new panels.

Great selection, Kenny!

Too many to thank, but I am appreciated for all the responses. KCD I like the panel that you are showing, how can I get it? I looked it up and it does not come up. If not I can live with the original one. I enjoyed flying it, as for a private aircraft. Kenny

I'm afraid I must agree with Kenny!

Freeware designers, Airports, scenery in general, boats, aircraft, gauges, you name it! Without them, MSFS would be much much less for those of us on very limited budgets!

A Huge vote of gratitude to them all! Past, present, future :D

Kenny... Sorry if I confused you by showing my panel. That creation is not available on-line, or anywhere else. It was created by me because the stock panel fell short of my expectations for what a panel should be for the aircraft type. I improved it to suit my needs. Unfortunately, I cannot make it available on-line because there are propriatory gauges used from panels by professional developers. Without permission, I cannot post the panel, and I no longer know whose instruments I use in any of my panels; I just have a huge file full of gauges from everywhere imaginable that I draw from.

The panel should be easily reproduced, however, All you need is the original BMP file that came with your download as a starting point. If you want to undertake the project, I can send you a list of the gauges I used, their size, and placelemt. Your finished product, depending on the actual gauges you substitute for the ones I used, will look and act very much like the one I showed earlier in the thread.
