W2DR
It will run FSX, but not very well. Both the CPU and the GPU are far below what FSX needs for good performance. See these comparisons: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+A6-6400K+APU http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+HD+8470D If it were me I'd pass and look for a better system. Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.0 Ghz, Asus Maxumus XII Hero MB, Noctua NH-U12A Cooler, Corsair Vengence Pro 32GB 3200Mhz, Geforce RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, and other good stuff. fsimmer98
Athlon X4 860K is only an OK processor. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It will probably work OK though since FSX is so old. Intel's budget offering; the i3 6100 is better IMO.
gearup
Go to JETLINE.com. I've bought 3 from them and they have always been spectacular for FSX. Check it out...it won't hurt. Stan

nelsond
Yes, what they say above. Buy as much bigger, better, faster as you can afford. A year from know you will be glad you did.

napamule2
Look below at my specs. That's all you need. It is 3 yrs old but it gets me 30 fps (locked). Buy the parts and put them together yourself and save a lot of $$$. I did. The motherboard is THE MOST IMPORTANT component, so shop wisely. Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change.
